I'll eat your heart out

This began as me wanting to do a still life of a strawberry, however halfway though I got bored. I'm quite happy with how this turned out. you often see strawberries and hearts together however it's not often that's it's this kind of heart. Even though the entire strawberry is done with charcoal(yes the red on the strawberry is charcoal), it wasn't all that difficult for me to keep the smearing down as I would have suspected. The green arteries and the blood were done with charcoal and red and green primsacolor sticks.
